Wilmington Harp Day
October 3, 2026
Wilmington Harp Day is open to harpists of all levels, beginner to advanced, students to professionals, both lever and pedal harpists. Our goal is for all harpists, no matter what level or what type of harp, to have fun learning and playing together as well as advancing technique and learning new skills.
There will be three custom workshops presented by Jacqueline including “Dynamics, Colors, and Extended Techniques on the Harp,” exploration of arranging and music theory including keys and key signatures, intervals, different time signatures and rhythms, and triads and their qualities and inversions. There will be lots of hands-on during the day.
After lunch we will have a session with a local hand therapist focused on strategies for healthy injury-free playing for harpists, good exercises and avoiding common problems.
